Helen Bernie, DO
Fellowship Trained, Board Certified Urologist Specializing in Men's Health
Dr. Helen L. Bernie is a board certified, fellowship-trained urologist and the Director of Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Indiana University. She is also an Assistant Professor of Urology at the IU School of Medicine where she teaches medical students.

Dr. Bernie is passionate about men’s health, cancer survivorship and fertility preservation. She treats all aspects of men’s health to include male sexual dysfunctions and infertility.

From a sexual health standpoint, she treats erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, low testosterone (hypogonadism), anorgasmia and ejaculatory dysfunctions. From a fertility standpoint, she specializes in treating male infertility by performing vasectomy reversals, testis biopsies, varicocele surgery and performing vasectomies.
Dr. Bernie completed her residency in Urology at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester NY, and went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, NY. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys.

Krystine Gulbrand, MD
Fellowship Trained, Urogynecologist Specializing in Women's Health
Dr. Krystine Gulbrand is a fellowship-trained pelvic surgeon specializing in the treatment of women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She grew up in Colorado and completed her undergraduate studies at Northern Arizona University. Dr. Gulbrand earned her medical degree from St. George's University in Grenada and completed her OBGYN residency at Michigan State University. She further honed her expertise with a fellowship in Urogynecology at Indiana University.

Ramzy Burns, MD
Fellow Specializing in Women's Health
Dr. Burns is a fellow in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. After completion of her fellowship in 2025, she plans to join IU School of Medicine as faculty in the Department of Urology.
