This exclusive roundtable kicks off three days of webinars and panel discussions focused on aerospace NDT and inspection.

This first event is dedicated to understanding the latest NDT technologies and how they can be applied effectively and efficiently in the aerospace sector. The panel discussion will be lead by leading experts in their field, who will present their views and then answer your technical questions live.

Using real-world examples and case studies, our panel of experts from across the sector will help existing NDT-professionals expand their knowledge and capabilities and provide an introduction to those new to the profession.

The roundtable has the aim of advancing NDT for the benefit of the whole testing community, sharing problems and solutions, technical knowledge and best management practices.

Interpreted through the context of the latest aerospace industry trends, the latest advances in established tools and technologies will be discussed. Topics to be covered include: automation, 3D printing, AI and machine learning, robotics, comuted and digital radiography and computed tomography.

Roger Engelbart
Retired. Previous Job Title at Boeing: Associate Technical Fellow - Nondestructive Evaluation
Roger Engelbart began his 47-year nondestructive testing (NDT) career as a radiographic technician in the aerospace industry. He holds a B.S. in metallurgical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an M.S. in mechanical engineering/materials science from Washington University in St. Louis. Roger is recently retired from Boeing Research & Technology-St. Louis, where he was an Associate Technical Fellow in nondestructive evaluation, focusing on the development of inspection methods for aircraft advanced materials and structures. He holds more than 50 U.S. and international patents in NDT technology. Roger has been a member of ASNT for more than 30 years; he holds NDT Level III certifications in five methods and is a Past President and Chair of the Board of ASNT.

Tyler Deschaine
NDT Engineering Manager
Tyler Deschaine has been in the Aerospace casting industry with PCC Structurals for the last six years in NDT management as a responsible NDT level 3. Tyler has been involved in the review and implementation of new technology and automation in NDT throughout his career, primarily in the method of digital radiography. Involved with NADCAP and ASTM committees for NDT.
