This presentation will be about how to save money on dynamic cables used in cable carriers by finding the most cost-effective solution that works. The aim of the presentation is to help prevent people “over specifying” products with engineered solutions that far outperform what they need. We want to give customers the ability to specify the correct products, quickly and safely.

We will also have a live demonstration of how our online tool can be used to support customers moving forward. Minimise over-expenditure and maximise the lifetime of these highly critical products with igus.

John Barker, Product Manager for the chainflex® cable business unit at igus UK, began his career in 2014 as the sales engineer covering all echain and chainflex® cable products for the East of England. In 2017 he was promoted to the role of chainflex® cables Product manager for the UK and Ireland. He now continues to head up the sales and development of this business unit, providing support to automation customers across a variety of industries with dynamic cable solutions.
