Tom Acland
CEO, 3DEXCITE at Dassault Systèmes
Since joining a DotCom startup at the turn of the millennium, Tom Acland has built transformative businesses in growth companies. His experience spans both pre- and post-exit phases, serving as a startup founder and in managerial roles at large enterprises, including Microsoft, Publicis Groupe, and Bosch.
As CTO of the digital agency Razorfish in Germany, Tom led pioneering programs for brands like Audi and Novartis, enhancing real-world products with virtual experiences. He later co-founded COBI, an IoT startup focused on intelligent mobility, safety, and style for bicycles. After COBI's acquisition by Bosch eBike Systems, Tom worked on IoT architecture to connect hardware systems with user experiences in light electric vehicles.

Now, as CEO of 3DEXCITE at Dassault Systèmes, Tom leads a global team of technologists and creative experts dedicated to developing and delivering virtual commercial twins for industrial companies. 3DEXCITE provides software and solutions that enable manufacturers to create high-fidelity virtual representations of products for customer and end-user applications.
Having spent more time abroad than in the UK, Tom is fluent in German and French. In his free time, he coaches a Little League soccer team in West London and enjoys playing Fortnite with his kids in the evenings.

As Executive Creative Director a 3DEXCITE Philip Hertel has been leading the Creative Team spearheading innovate interactive experiences across all digital channels.
Before joining 3DEXCITE he spent many years in the advertising sector, among them BBDO, Wunderman, Grey & Territory and working for Clients like BMW, Microsoft, Allianz & Telekom.
With his own co-owned agency he was also involved in the launch of Call-a-Bike, a rental bike system now owned by Deutsche Bahn which was first of its kind on the market and preceding app-based systems of today. When not diving into virtual worlds he likes to actually divg .

Borna Vrdoljak
Head of Product & Customer Marketing, Vertical Aerospace
Borna Vrdoljak has over 25 years of expertise in commercial and business aviation. He joined Vertical Aerospace in 2022 as Head of Product and Customer Market. Prior to Vertical, he was Head of Marketing at Airbus Corporate Jets. Borna also held roles at Airbus Commercial Aircraft is marketing, new aircraft programmes. He has led global strategies for market growth, and as A350 Customer Programme Director, managing critical projects to prepare leading global airlines for entry into service. Specializing in aircraft pricing and customization, Borna has a proven track record of delivering strategic value, driving growth, and fostering strong client relationships. He is passionate about innovation and committed to leveraging his extensive industry insight to support the electrification of aviation and eVTOLs.
