In this session, edtech expert and senior leader Bukky Yusuf will consider the key leadership challenges facing schools when it comes to leading edtech this year and beyond. She will consider how to build confidence around edtech across school staff and communities, how to prepare your school for the digital age, the impact and effect of Covid-19 on edtech strategy, and how to evaluate the many wonderful claims made by edtech products and services. This session will help you to evaluate your school’s approaches to edtech to ensure they are fit-for-purpose.

Bukky Yusuf is a senior leader, science teacher and coach. She has undertaken a number of leadership roles within mainstream / special schools and is also an ambassador for Leadership Matters. Furthermore, Bukky is also a Network Leader and coach for WomenEd & BAMEEd. She also champions the wellbeing of educators through the #teacher5aday initiative.
Beyond the classroom, Bukky has a variety of Ed(ucation) Tech(nology) experiences which includes participating as a judge for The EdTech50 Schools, BETT Awards and serving as an Education Board Member for Innovate My School. In 2019, Bukky was appointed by the Department of Education as co-chair for the EdTech Leadership Group.
