The Centre for Youth Impact and NPC published the final report from the largest ever evaluation of open access youth provision in June 2021. The Youth Investment Fund (YIF) Learning Project highlighted the value of approaches to evaluation that align with practice and focus on the relationship between quality and impact.
This session will look at lessons learned from this ground-breaking three-year project and implications for the way forward in evaluating children’s and youth services across all sectors.

Chief Executive, Centre for Youth Impact
Bethia is the Centre’s Chief Executive, and has been with the Centre since its launch in 2014. Since November 2021, she has also been Interim CEO at the YMCA George Williams College, ahead of the charities’ planned merger in April 2022. Prior to setting up the Centre, Bethia worked at Dartington Social Research Unit, the Young Foundation, the National Youth Agency and NIACE (now the Learning and Work Institute) in a variety of policy and research roles. Bethia is a trustee of Datakind UK, on the board of youth organisation Isledon, and a school governor
