This workshop will be led by education technology trainer Osi Ejiofor, who has 14 years’ experience in primary education, including teaching computing and ICT across three London boroughs and developing the use of technology in each school. During the workshop, Osi will offer practical reflections and ideas for schools on how to empower teaching staff in the use of digital technology, creating a digitally literate workforce. He will consider disseminating best practice and tech know-how, how we can effectively train staff during the current Covid-19 pandemic, what our priorities for training should be, and effective transition from training to classroom practice.

Within 14 year of experience in Primary education, Osi has taught and led in computing and ICT for over 10 years across three London boroughs, developing the use of technology in each school. He has been an ICT co-ordinator in Newham, non-class based lead of ICT- computing in Redbridge and assistant headteacher in charge of STEM in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
Osi uses his experience in the use of technology in the classroom to provide professional training and is an event speaker, helping schools transform their use of the technology they already have.
