How are we learning to adapt our use of technology – and making something positive come out of the Covid-19 period? Covid-19 has pushed us into a new norm. This session will take you through the key learning points from our journey through classroom teaching and learning, home learning, teaching from home and blended face-to-face and home learning. It will detail how we are planning to use this learning to improve our schools for the future, exploring the use of technology and remote learning in the areas of feedback and assessment, attendance, finance and specialist teaching. This session will be led by experienced headteacher Chris Wilkins, who is Director of Primary Education at Cumbria Education Trust.

Chris is Director of Primary Education at Cumbria Education Trust. Before this he was Executive Headteacher of the St Ninian Catholic Federation in Carlisle. Previously he was a headteacher for 16 years in catholic schools in the Midlands and Cumbria. He is passionate about providing the best possible opportunities for children is always looking to work with colleagues to improve those outcomes. He is committed to the idea that working closely together as educators is the only way to achieve a better education for all.
