Ally-Khan Somani, BSc, MD, Ph.D., FACMS, FAAD, FASDS, FEADV is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs-Surgeon and Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology in the Department of Dermatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
His practice is focused on treating skin cancers using micrographic surgery followed by reconstructive surgery. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters.
Dr David Zabel
Plastic Surgeon, Newark, USA
Dr Zabel is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington Delaware.
Dr Zabel’s reconstructive surgery practice focuses on complex abdominal wall reconstruction and inpatient and outpatient wound care consisting of post traumatic wounds, chronic wounds and the reconstruction of complex oncologic patients.
He has co-authored five book chapters and more than 25 peer reviewed Journal articles in the fields of wound healing and surgery
Professor Falk Bechara
Head of Dermatologic Surgery Department, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany
Professor Falk G Bechara is the Head of the Department of Dermatologic Surgery, and Senior Physician of the Department of Dermatology, Allergology and Venereology at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.
He is the Past-President of the German Society of Dermatologic Surgery (DGDC) and its current PR consultant. Prof Bechara is coordinating the Skin Cancer Center of the Ruhr-University Bochum with focus on reconstructive dermatologic surgery.
He has published extensively in scientific journals and dermatology textbooks and is a frequent speaker both at national and international conferences.
In 2008 Prof Bechara founded the Hidradenitis suppurativa / Acne inversa Center in Bochum, which has become one of the largest in Europe, with a focus on serious cases with demanding surgical challenges.
