Consultant Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon & Clinical Director, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London
Miss Umarji is a consultant orthopaedic hand & wrist surgeon who specialises exclusively in hand & wrist conditions. She works at St George’s Hospital, one of London’s major trauma centres, where she is the Clinical Director for Surgery. She qualified from Oxford University and has advanced fellowship training for specialised hand and wrist conditions.
Having played sport to a high level she has a natural interest in sports injuries along with traumatic injuries around the hand and wrist. She is active in research and is Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George’s University of London.
