Julia qualified from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh in 2000 and spent 13 years in mixed, mainly farm animal practice in the North of England. She gained the RCVS CertCHP in 2009 and subsequently a Masters in Sustainable and Efficient Food Production in 2019. Julia has worked for Map of Ag for the last 10 years. Her role is a combination of direct to farm consultancy along with advisory work for supply chain clients including dairy processors and retailers. The direct to farm consultancy involves provision of independent nutrition advice to dairy and beef farms including ration formulation, performance review and feed costings.
