The AP Equity Self-Assessment

Determine the Extent to which your school’s AP program is promoting equitable outcomes. Does your school regularly monitor AP data through an equity lens? Do you have an open enrollment policy for AP courses? How do you support students’ transitioning into AP? In this interactive session, Mass Insight’s team will walk you through a tool that can help you address these questions and identify the extent to which your school/district uses money, time, program, policies, and staff to meet the needs of historically marginalized students. You will have an opportunity to reflect on a pressing problem of practice in your AP program, explore best practices and use the AP Equity Self-Assessment to examine aspects of your AP program in your school/district.
