Jochen has a long and successful career in the Trade Fair Industry. Prior to starting his own business in 2007, Jochen was President & CEO of Koelnmesse for nearly 10 years, where he focused on the international expansion of Koelnmesse’s portfolio and the modernisation of the exhibition grounds in Cologne as well as new business development and the expansion of the service sector. Before joining the Trade Fair Industry, Jochen worked as a Tax Lawyer for BASF AG in various positions. In 1993 he was appointed President of the Potash Company of Canada in Toronto and in 1998 he became a member of the Executive Board of Wingas GmbH in Kassel, Germany.

Jochen was Chairman of the European Chapter of UFI from 1999 to 2005 and President of UFI in 2007. He is currently serving as a member of the Board of UFI. He is member of several Advisory and Supervisory Boards in the Trade Fair Industry.

Julien originally started with jwc as a working student. Then after graduating with his Bachelors in Economics and Management at HEC Management School – University of Liège with distinction in June 2017 (taught in French), he was hired as a full-time Business Analyst. His current work focuses on pricing and strategy projects as well as industry research.

Originally from the German speaking part of Belgium, he is also fluent in French and English. Julien has a keen interest in languages, other cultures and travel. As such, he completed a semester abroad at the University of Québec in Montréal, Canada. In the French-Canadian city, he further improved his language skills and gained international team-working experience during a project in partnership with the University of Cincinnati. In addition to this, he did a student exchange in Finland during high-school.

Jimé has an exceptionally successful career in the global trade fair and conference industry. He has worked for nearly 30 years in leading B2B media businesses in emerging and developed markets throughout Asia, South America and Europe, amongst others as CEO of VNU Exhibitions Europe and President of VNU Exhibitions Asia. In November 2007 Jimé was appointed CEO of UBM Asia, where he was responsible for the transition of the company to become the leading exhibition organizer in Asia. After the merger of UBM with Informa in 2018, Jimé led the integration of the operations and became President of the combined business; he retired from Informa end of 2019 and has joined the board of jwc in 2020.

Paul Colston is an-award winning editor and currently Managing Editor of the International Portfolio at leading UK meetings industry publisher Mash Media. Paul edits the monthly titles Conference & Meetings World, Exhibition World, and their related websites www.c-mw.net and www.exhibitionworld.co.uk and digital products.
Paul is a regular speaker at global industry MICE forums including International Confex, IBTM, Russian Economic Forum, Convene and Conventa. He has also chaired many industry roundtable discussions and Conference Question Time.
Paul has been in the industry since 2005 and is a fluent Russian speaker. He previously edited magazines covering the emerging markets and was English Publications Director at the Novosti Press Agency.
Paul is based in London and is a commited fan of Everton Football Club.
