In 2015 I joined Mattioli Woods as an Employee Benefits Consultant. Prior to this I held various positions in the financial services industry managing corporate clients on behalf of HBOS (Lloyds Banking Group), Santander and Yorkshire Building Society.

I also spent a significant part of my career with the industry regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority. While at the FCA, I helped to develop and deliver the regulator’s objectives for financial education, which later became the Money Advice Service, and was actively involved in the Retail Distribution Review.

I currently live in Huddersfield with my wife and three children and when not working I am an active Yorkshire Masters swimmer.

I have worked in the Financial Services industry for more than 20 years, in both regulated firms and the regulator. Financial education and wellbeing form the key elements of my role in Mattioli Woods. This supports the aim of empowering people to become better informed and make better financial decisions for themselves.

I joined Mattioli Woods in 2022 and provide both seminars and webinars across the UK. I also conduct guidance clinics, in person and online, for those with specific questions about their employee benefits so covering a wide range of topics.

I’m married with four children, two grandchildren and a dog. When I get any free time it’s spent walking, preferably in the Yorkshire Dales.
