Karine is responsible for the content and quality of Euromonitor’s global health and wellness data and analysis and is a regular speaker at international conferences and trade shows. Karine advises clients across the food and nutrition industry spectrum and provides expertise on key trends, including functional nutrition, clean label, food as medicine, but also ingredient diversification and sustainable eating. Prior to her current role, Karine was Project Lead on snacks research at Euromonitor.
Laura Wilkinson is an experimental psychologist with a research interest in eating behaviour and weight management. She has recently conducted work focussed on sustainable eating behaviour and consumer acceptability of novel foods or ingredients. Laura has an ongoing interest in food variety with a particular interest in the effect of ‘multi-component food-items’ and combinations of foods on eating behaviour. Finally, Laura has built a body of research on the relationship between attachment orientation and disinhibited eating behaviours, including work with patients undergoing bariatric surgery, those with night eating syndrome, and diabetes.
Lauren Woodley is the Group Nutrition Leader at Nomad Foods, Europe’s leading frozen food company which owns brands including Birds Eye in the UK. An award-winning registered nutritionist, she is passionate about nutrition, sustainability and great food. Throughout her career working in the food industry, Lauren has championed healthy sustainable eating, positive behaviour change and nutrition education, with the purpose of empowering positive choices for all. She regularly contributes to external publications and events on topics including sustainable eating, behaviour change, product reformulation and nutrition policy landscapes.
