• Are you struggling with work/life balance in a 24/7 world?
• Is the thought of finding that next career overwhelming?
• Are you yearning for more meaningful work, but are afraid of what you might have to give up to get it?
Sometimes, taking one step in the right direction is all you need to get unstuck. If you are looking for practical guidance more than theory, tailored advice rather than one size fits all, rich conversation rather than slick scripts, join the NAA for this Career Talk.
Career coach, Carol Ross (McC ’83, GMcC ’87), will be answering your questions for a full hour. For over a decade, Carol has worked with the Northwestern Alumni Association to help thousands of alumni grow their careers. Wildcats have watched her webinars on using social media, attended her workshops on networking with more ease, and listened to her interview Jane Pauley about encore careers. Carol has also blogged about careers for NAA.
Carol will start the conversation off with a few remarks on what she’s learned from her career, having transitioned from engineer to organization development consultant and coach, and from employee to entrepreneur. She will then speak with 3-4 individuals with unique career questions and answer them with valuable resources to go along with it.
