Originally from Birmingham, Kathy received her advanced education at Birmingham-Southern College. Kathy’s professional career began with 20 years in the media industry (radio and television) but will end by serving senior citizens. As director of a senior center for 5 1/2 years at MACOA, the largest senior center in central Alabama, Kathy devoted her life to meeting the needs of senior citizens.

After being trained in federal benefits (Federal Employee Benefits Advisor), Kathy learned how to help thousands of individuals, families, and federal employees make wise, frugal retirement decisions. Due to continuing education (Series 6, 63, and 65) and working with a company that specializes in finding the best financial products for seniors, Kathy continues to stand ready to help pre and post retirees find solutions to the problems that arise in retirement.

Every free moment Kathy gets is spent with her husband, daughter Leslie, fourteen-year-old grandson Konner, and two dogs, Sassy and Sally.
