10/19: Fake News, Social Media, & the Spread of (Mis)Information

Ebeth Andanen is an educator at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, OR. In her 15 years with the museum, she has set hundreds of things on fire, made dozens of messes (on purpose, usually), and engaged countless minds in the wonders of science and engineering.

Jillian Girard is currently a researcher at Multnomah County and Adjunct Professor in the Public Administration Department at Portland State University. She is interested in a wide variety of research topics, including pay equity, stakeholder engagement, data visualization, ecology, science and technology studies, and comparative politics.
