A Deep Dive into... Spaceport Cornwall - business legacy and future plans

About This Webinar

Our Deep Dive series of webinars is designed to look in more detail at issues facing businesses and individuals today.

Join us for our Deep Dive into...Space. This session will focus on the UK space industry, in particular Spaceport Cornwall, its business legacy and future plans.

The event:
Back in 2021 we hosted a Deep Dive into Space when we obtained insights into what was happening at the Spaceport Cornwall and its potential impact on manufacturing and R&D in the region and the opportunities to develop South West as a centre of excellence for space related activities.
Now we revisit those questions to see what has been realised in the past 15 months and what are the future plans.

The panel:
Melissa Quinn - Head of Spaceport Cornwall
Ian Jones - CEO Goonhilly
James Fairbairn - Business Development Manager, Cornwall Space Cluster

Why is this relevant?
Spaceport Cornwall is an exciting and arguably unique opportunity afforded to the South West.

Spaceport Cornwall could be and should be a catalyst for SMEs to innovate and develop new products in the region.

Who should attend?
Business Leaders in the region and / or with products or services related to the (satellite) space sector who want to better understand the Spaceport Cornwall offering and the opportunities it may present to their business/ wider business community – to include this in their strategic plans.
