Ugo Bui-Xuan is the Director of Research at PlaytestCloud. He has worked on 100+ game titles ranging from AAA to indie across PC, console, and mobile with a roster of studios that includes Gameloft, EA, SEGA, Sony, Zynga, Ubisoft, LEGO, Disney, Apple and Netflix. With deep expertise in research methodologies and gaming, Ugo trains researchers and non-researchers alike in running better research, and in turning player insights into tangible improvements in game development.

Originally from North Carolina, USA, Dana lives in Hamburg and joined PlaytestCloud in February 2024. A self-proclaimed cozy gamer who historically spent twice as much time on the Sims as her schoolwork, she now divides her time between Stardew Valley and letting her sons beat her at MarioKart.

Dana is the author of Empathy at Scale, Conversations with Customers, and the editor of The Growth Equation.
