Jessy Parmar
Business Development Manager, Industrial, North American Commercial Team
Jessy Parmar is a Business Development Manager for the North American Industrial Marketing team at Xylem. Jessy previously worked as a Technical Sales Representative where he was responsible for growth within the industrial sector. Throughout his years with Xylem, he has spent time traveling throughout Canada working with mining end users to solve challenging pumping issues, but in recent years has shifted his attention towards working with these end users and others throughout North America on an overall fluid management approach focused around digital solutions geared towards solving challenges such as efficiency, infrastructure reliability, health and safety, and environmental sustainability. Jessy is a graduate of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where he obtained his Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma.

Dave Donahue
National Sales Manager, Coal Ash
Dave Donahue has worked with Xylem for over 19 years and has over 34 years working with pumps and water treatment systems. For the past ten years, one of his primary focuses has been on the power utility sector with a heavy emphasis on solving the challenges of the coal ash market by utilizing Xylem’s wide range of products and services. Dave has also served as a Branch Manager during his tenure with Xylem. Dave lives with his wife and 2 daughters in North Carolina and studied Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at Ohio State University and Ohio University.

Matt Previte
Business Development Manager, YSI Integrated Systems & Services
Matt Previte is a Business Development Manager with YSI Integrated Systems & Services, a division of Xylem. Matt has served with YSI for nearly 20-years in everything from sales to project management, working directly with customers to provide solutions for their outdoor-water-related research, compliance, and operational requirements. During his career he has had the great fortune of gaining experience in a wide variety of applications and markets from stormwater runoff, natural resource research, energy, mining, and more. Matt graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry.

Christopher Kyea
Global Product Manager, PureHM
Christopher Kyea is Xylem’s Global Product Manager for inline leak detection which includes the free-swimming SmartBall and tethered Sahara inspection platforms. Chris is a registered Civil Professional Engineer in California and Hawaii and is passionate about pipeline condition assessment. As a product manager, Chris helps connect the dots between Xylem’s engineers, business development, and boots on the ground to help pipeline owners, operators, and consultants solve the world’s water challenges.

Aaron Larson
Executive Editor, POWER magazine
Aaron Larson joined the POWER team in September 2013 as an associate editor and was named executive editor in 2017. Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering technology and a master’s degree, specializing in finance. He spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program, advancing to Chief Petty Officer. He has worked at commercial nuclear, biomass, and coal-fired power plants, functioning in operations, maintenance, safety, financial, and management capacities. Aaron holds a Chief A Engineer boiler operator license in the state of Minnesota.
