Workshop 6: How do we teach about consent? (KS1&2)

You will explore the importance of teaching about consent from primary level, and learn how to do so effectively using our new consent lesson plans. We will cover how to develop relevant knowledge, skills and attributes and embed this learning within a structured, sequenced PSHE education programme. We’ll also show you how to teach about relevant issues – such as asking for permission, personal boundaries and appropriate or inappropriate touch – in an age-appropriate way that lays the foundation for secondary school.
