This session will help you to make sure your students fully understand consent (and its importance) in theory and in practice. It will support any secondary PSHE leads or teachers to embed effective, age-appropriate learning about consent within your PSHE education curriculum. We’ll explore the implications of recent research, how to gauge your students’ current understanding and build on prior learning. We will also cover how to challenge assumptions about consent, including the impact of pornography. And we’ll introduce our new consent lesson plans and guidance to get your school on the right track.
