About
Making life easier for installers, without compromising on safety or system quality, is one route to lower costs and improved service in the rooftop PV segment. This year, Sungrow is launching a new process to speed up the commissioning operation of new systems and getting the inverters up and running. In this pv magazine Webinar, we take a closer look at the process and how it fits into Sungrow’s iSolarCloud monitoring platform. We’ll be treated to a demonstration of the platform in action and hear from an installer already implementing the new process in the field.

Saving time for installers and engineers, and reducing the complexity of designing, construction and commissioning of a rooftop PV system are important goals for the sector, with the potential to lower costs and increase acceptance for more customers.
Software and monitoring of course have a key role to play in all of this, with the potential to diagnose and even fix system issues without requiring a callout from an engineer. And with a new feature added to its iSolarCloud platform, Sungrow is extending the hand its software can lend right back to the initial process of commissioning a new system and getting the inverters up and running.

The new process allows installers to carry out plant creation and upload of all the plant data remotely, within the iSolarCloud app or web browser – saving time on site and even making it possible to carry out the entire commissioning process remotely.
In this pv magazine Webinar, Andrea Polini, Product Manager Hybrid / Battery Distribution at Sungrow will take us through the many features of Sungrow’s free iSolarCloud monitoring system – including a live demonstration of the new commissioning in action. And we’ll hear full details of the new commissioning process and its promise to make it easier and faster for installers to get the inverters into operation, from Eleonora Potestio, Product Manager residential & commercial at Sungrow.

The new process was rolled out to customers at the beginning of this year, and finally we’ll hear from Magnus Juvèn, Product & Development Manager at Wettersol, an installer in Sweden, about their experience working with the platform so far, and how it has influence their process for project commissioning.
