Initiative partner: Solar-Log
The pioneer for monitoring, and our initiative partner Solar-Log, embarked on an exciting journey a year and a half ago, encouraging its customers to actively participate in the further development process of the monitoring software. It quickly became clear that a new, lean and modern product was needed that no longer carried the legacy of its predecessor versions. Photovoltaic systems have a projected service life of 20 years and that brings some challenges for software developers. Today’s demands on software in terms of user-friendliness, automation and intelligence are completely different than what they were a few years ago. But how do you manage a restart during operation?
In this webinar we will take a look at the latest version of the software, which has been available since April after an extensive test phase. We want to hear from Alexander Braun, Strategic Product Management & Project Engineering at Solar-Log, how it succeeds in meeting the needs of different customer groups, from private plant owners to professional O&M providers. What functionalities will the program add and which ones will the users have to say goodbye to? In addition, Holger Schroth, Director of Marketing at Solar-Log, will give us an outlook on tomorrow’s features.
Both want to whet the appetite of customers and new customers to leap to the next level. By internalizing guidance from the customers in the development stages of products and services, Solar-Log has identified real added value.
