The country’s conditions are characterized by high solar irradiance, high ambient temperature, low humidity, low rainfall, and moderate wind speed.

Under these challenging conditions, according to JinkoSolar, monofacial TOPCon PV modules with backsheets showed improved results compared to the past. The Chinese manufacturer claims its monofacial TOPCon products performed “excellently” in a series of tests that were reportedly three times harsher that the conventional international standards.
