Οι πωλήσεις βιολογικών τροφίμων και ποτών στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο αυξήθηκαν κατά 4,5% το 2019 σε ρεκόρ 2,45 δισεκατομμυρίων λιρών και αναμένεται να φτάσουν πάνω από £ 2,6 δισεκατομμύρια μέχρι το τέλος του 2020, γεγονός που σημαίνει μηνιαίες αγορές 200 εκατ. λιρών για βιολογικά τρόφιμα και ποτά!

Dimitris Dimitriadis

Since 2014, Dimitris Dimitriadis is the General Manager of DIO, the Inspection and Certification Organization of Organic Products, which is responsible for auditing and certifying Organic products.

He was a founding member and a Board member of DIO, of the Professional Organic Farmers of Greece Union, of the Interdisciplinary body for organic farming REA and the Union of Organic Farmers of Laconia.
He has participated in various European meetings, as the Greek representative, concerning organic farming and has been teaching young farmers and agronomists about the organic farming benefits for many years.

Dimitris was also the Greek representative of IFOAM during 1995- 2001. Since 1992, he’s involved in the production of his own organic olives by applying the Biodynamic Agriculture principles.

Kostas Papadopoulos

Kostas Papadopoulos is the founder, main shareholder and CEO BIOAGROS S.A, which has been actively involved for over 30 years in the imports, production, packaging of organic products. The company currently produces 2000 SKUs which are exported to more than 15 countries worlwide.

Over the years Kostas has served as an Organic Farming Consultant, Trading Consultant for numerous organic farmers, President of the Macedonian Union of Organic Farmers, Board Member of the Administrative’s Council of the Federation of Organic Farmers in Greece, Founding member of the Organic Products Network and President of the Union of Young Farmers of Pella.

Anna Kalliani

Greek President, British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce

Anna is currently President of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Financial & Strategy Advisor at Anirva International Strategic Advisors Ltd.

Anna has over 15 years’ experience in investment banking having started as a financial analyst at Citibank and subsequently held various positions at the investment arms of HSBC and Emporiki Bank in Greece and the corporate finance department of Deloitte & Touche. Over these years, she has developed expertise in M&As, IPOs, privatisations, identification and evaluation of investment opportunities and financial planning.
