Hugh has written extensively on investment, corporate and sustainability issues for UK national newspapers including The Observer and The Financial Times. He has interviewed some of the biggest names in global institutional finance and sustainability. He won the respected Aon Consulting award for European Pensions and Investment Journalist of the Year in 2006. From 2004 to 2007 he was Paris Correspondent and before that Fund Management Editor at Financial News, part of the Wall Street Journal. Prior to that he was Political and Economic advisor to Irene Khan, secretary general of Amnesty International. From 1997 to 2003 he worked at Investment & Pensions Europe (IPE) magazine where he held the position of Deputy Editor, launch Editor of IPE Real Estate and launch Editor of IPE.com.

Chris Newton is the Executive Director of Responsible Investment at IFM Investors. Here, he works to enhance IFM’s responsible investment endeavours and to drive ESG innovation. Chris has significant expertise and experience on ESG policy and sits on the IFM Investors Investment Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Council for Asia Pacific. Previously, he provided ESG advice to Boards, CEOs and Government Ministers ranging from corporate strategy, economic policy, financial evaluations, M&A and corporate responsibility. Chris is a Non-Executive Director of Westernport Water, Social Traders and a special adviser to Good Shepherd. Chris was an original member of the PRI Infrastructure Advisory Council and also sits on a number of industry working groups, including ACSI, the IIGC Climate Change Policy Working Group and the PRI working groups on “Just Transition” and Human rights.

Anthony Eames is a vice president and director of responsible investment strategy for Calvert Research and Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eaton Vance Management specializing in responsible and sustainable investing across global capital markets. He is responsible for the suite of strategies focused on responsible investing, encompassing actively and passively managed U.S. and international equity strategies, fixed-income strategies and asset allocation funds. Anthony is responsible for client communications and insights on investment strategy and portfolio positioning. He joined Calvert Research and Management in 2016 when Eaton Vance acquired the business assets of Calvert Investment Management, forming Calvert Research and Management.

Anthony began his career in the investment management industry in 1995 with Calvert Investment Management. He has been affiliated with the Eaton Vance organization since 2016. Before joining Eaton Vance, he was senior vice president and national sales manager at Calvert Investment Management. Previously, he represented Calvert as senior regional vice president in the Northeast and held various roles in client services and sales.

Anthony earned a B.A. from Wittenberg University. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary and Accredited Asset Management Specialist designations, and FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Hans Stoter started his career at Nomura Bank and Philips Electronics, before joining ING Investment Management in 1998 as portfolio manager Investment Grade Credits. In 2013 Chief Investment Officer and Board member of ING Investment Management (later re-branded to NN Investment Partners).

Hans joined AXA IM in June 2018 as Global Head of Fixed Income & (interim) Global Head of Multi Asset Client Solutions. In January 2019 he was promoted to Global Head of Core Investments. He has been appointed Global Head of AXA IM Core in April 2020, which combines the Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Framlington Equities and Rosenberg investment activities.

Hans holds masters degree in business economics and Financial Analysis, both from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.

Katie is a Senior Investment Strategist in the RI team for the NZ Superannuation Fund. She is involved primarily in leading their engagement programme, working with external managers, driving positive impact investment and developing the exclusion list. She also provides support and expertise for the Fund’s Climate Change Investment Strategy. Currently Katie is one of the lead investors of a global collaborative engagement that is calling for the social media companies to strengthen controls to prevent the livestreaming and dissemination of objectionable content such as that of the Christchurch terror attacks. Katie is currently serving on the External Reporting Board’s Stakeholder Advisory Panel (XRAP) and National Advisory Board for New Zealand’s Impact Investing Network.

Fiona Stewart, Lead Financial Sector Specialist, is part of the Long-term Finance Team in the World Bank's Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice. Fiona provides policy advice on pension and insurance market reform to governments around the world. She also leads the Bank’s work on Sustainable Finance. Previously, Fiona worked for the OECD, leading the Secretariat of the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS), and in the pension fund industry, as head of American Express Asset Management in Japan. She holds degrees from Oxford and Johns Hopkins Universities and a Chartered Financial Analyst qualification.
