Arrive on time. We know the virtual world we are living in even more so now means you may be doing other online tasks. We have some fun activities planned before the talks get underway. Arrive on time and you can mingle with other attendees, meet someone new in the PMI community, and partake in fun activities.
Stay until the very end. We recommend you block your calendar and plan to stay through the final session to get the full TED@PMI virtual experience. Each speaker goes through a rigorous selection and preparation process and we don’t want you to miss out! Speaker meet-up sessions will close each day where you will have opportunities to connect further with the speakers, as well as fellow attendees.
You can see the speaker line-up
here.
Meet someone new. TED@PMI is a unique opportunity to connect. You can connect with Speakers after their talks and your fellow attendees are every bit as extraordinary. It’s completely normal (and encouraged) to strike up conversations with strangers. Start by asking them about their “Ask Me About” topics on their virtual business card.

https://webcaptioner.comWhat is TED@PMI?
Every year, TED works with a group of carefully selected organizations like PMI to identify their best inventors, connectors, and creators. They oversee the curation process and provide one-on-one talk development training to sharpen and hone ideas and talks. TED@PMI is a celebration of that need to reimagine those moments of inspiration and the mesmerizing experience of turning ideas into action.
This is an opportunity to let talents, ideas, and vision of the project community shine to the world. We're going to showcase project leaders who turn ideas into action and inspiration into reality. The culmination will be a virtual TED@PMI event where our speakers and performers will take the stage to share their big, bold, creative idea with the PMI Community.
How were the TED@PMI Speakers selected?
PMI Members Globally, Certification Holders in Mainland China and PMI Employees we’re invited to apply for the opportunity to be a speaker as part of the TED@PMI program earlier this year. TED reviewed the hundreds of applications and carefully selected 13 submissions for the TED@PMI program. Speakers were notified in May 2020.
