A SAME IGE Webinar: PFAS IGE - PFAS 101 and PFAS Regulatory Update

As is well known throughout the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), PFAS impacts from the use of aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) are widespread and affect many aspects of the function and future of our military bases. The amount of information about PFAS (e.g., DENIX, ITRC, NGWA, TRB, etc.) is overwhelming.

This webinar will provide the attendees with an abbreviated introduction of basic information about PFAS. It will then build an understanding of the DOD response to PFAS concerns in the context of drinking water analysis and the recently finalized federal MCLs, state surface water and NPDES requirements, the hazardous substance designation, RSLs, and PFAS background considerations.
