SAME Energy & Sustainability Webinar: The Urgency of Building Decarbonization
As we face a continued and accelerating climate change crisis, we need to adopt an aggressive and sustained decarbonization strategy. Buildings represent 39 percent of global carbon emissions, and the global building stock is expected to double by 2060. Urgent action is needed to ensure new buildings aren’t built in the “business as usual” method, locking in continued decades-long high building emissions. This webinar will present the fundamentals of building decarbonization and discuss the ASHRAE building decarbonization position moving forward.
