SAME K12 STEM Outreach COI Webinar: SAME and Partnering With Indigenous Communities

About This Webinar

In 2021, a team in the SAME Leader Development Program began researching how to conduct STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) outreach to American Indian audiences in the K- 12 age range. This project grew into a program operating at 4 sites across the US, funded by the United Engineering Foundation and SAME Foundation. Now completing it’s 2nd year and ready for the 3rd, STEM Pathways for Indigenous Youth has developed several tools for culturally sensitive interactions. Whether it’s K12 STEM outreach or an engineering project, join us to learn more about partnering with indigenous communities.
