April 4 was the long awaited date for Ontario to finally enter the regulated igaming space, bringing with it much optimism from many corners of the world. Projections of a multi-billion dollar market brings with it much revenue potential, with iGaming Ontario also promising that “rigorous standards” will be imposed when it comes to game and operator integrity, fairness, player protections and social responsibility.
