Emi Ishita is an Associate Professor at Kyushu University (Japan), with appointments in the Department of Library Science and the Research and Development Division of the University Library. She currently serves as the iSchool representative for Kyushu University. Dr. Ishita earned her Ph.D in Information Science from Kyushu University and her Master of Information Science from the University of Library and Information Science (Japan). Her research interests include application of text analysis to genre classification, computational archival science and computational social science, and Library and Information Science education.
