Suzi Hilliard is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer for Security Services. She has over 20 years of experience in the IT world, 15 of those working in cybersecurity with the State of Texas. With a focus on security management, policies, and user awareness, Suzi strives to continuously improve security programs in state government. Before joining DIR, Suzi worked as a security analyst for both the Texas Attorney General's Office in the Child Support Division, and for the Department of State Health Services. An avid traveler, Suzi has explored a good portion of North America visiting forty of the fifty United States, with a few trips to Canada and Mexico. Suzi has a BA in Communications from St. Edward's University and holds a CISSP certification.
