Former indie film producer Samantha Rae Lopez is a storyteller, podcaster, and one of three co-founders of the Tejanas in Film collective. She volunteers annually as a reviewer for the AFS Grant, and is a screener for various film festivals including CineLasAmericas International Film Festival. Her hosting skills can be heard on multiple podcasts across the internet such as The Creative's Potluck Podcast, The WIFT Austin Podcast, and TIF Voices. Her most recent show is a 12-part limited series podcast highlighting the various aspects of the film industry in Texas titled Texas Film in Focus.

By day, she is a digital media marketer specializing in social media strategy and content production and is producing a B2B podcast for the largest travel company in the world launching Spring 2022.

She holds a BS in Film Production from Full Sail University with a focus on assistant directing and production management.
