Nyaz Kirkuki is from Kurdistan he is the Program Manager for Engaging Men and Boys at Tapestri working with Refugee and immigrant populations in the USA providing prevention and intervention to stop violence against women and girls, in the last 20 years he worked with national and international organization for social justice and gender equality. Nyaz is a community organizer who works with more than fifty different cultures. He utilizes his knowledge and experience by engaging men to create a safe community for women and girls. Nyaz conducts hundreds of workshops, training, and webinars for community and government organizations to end violence in the community. Nyaz developed many programs, curriculum, and training and participate in radio and television programs. Nyaz was awarded for his leadership in the community by Barack Obama Foundation. Nyaz holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is state certified in domestic violence intervention programs.
