Heavenly Taylor’s journey with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles began in 2017 when she joined the Field Services Division. Over the years, her dedication and outstanding contributions led to her progression within the agency, taking on roles in Field Services Warrants and Violations and Interstate Compact. In 2022, she assumed the role in the Victim Services Division as a Victim Specialist II. Heavenly obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice from Clark Atlanta University. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctoral degree at Liberty University, with her dissertation underway. Heavenly is a Credentialed Victim Advocate through the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA), she is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and is a Certified Victim-Offender Dialogue facilitator. She is a member of the Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision (GPACS), the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice, and the National Organizations for Victim Assistance.
