Michelle M. Kazmer is a Professor in the School of Information, and Associate Dean in the College of Communication and Information, at Florida State University. Her research includes qualitative and mixed-methods studies of distributed knowledge in settings associated with health and learning, and she has a courtesy appointment in the FSU College of Medicine. She teaches in the areas of qualitative research methods, information policy, information organization, and information literacy. She has also worked as a rare book cataloger, as an academic engineering/digital librarian, and as a technical information specialist in the automotive industry.
