Francis Román (she/they) is a First Generation Ecuadorian-American creative and filmmaker living in Austin, Texas. She’s one to wear many hats, which include being an indie film producer, producing events, and even voice acting. She has been a Coordinator and Associate Producer for several post production houses including Terrence Malick’s Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience and Voyage of Time: Life's Journey. Most recently, she has been a co-producer and co-host for How To Texas: A Texas Filmmaking Podcast and is currently a Film Festival Programmer at the SXSW Film Festival. Making movies with her friends brings her joy and she would love to do it forever.
