Fanghui Xiao is a Ph.D.in Library and Information Science student in the Department of Information Culture and Data Stewardship at the School of Computing and Information at the University of Pittsburgh. My main research interest is to improve the usability of open data and its platforms by investigating user behaviors and data literacy. Both qualitative and quantitative methods are adopted to explore how open data and its platforms would be easy to be accessed and used by users.
