Dajah Jones
Senior Victim Specialist

Dajah Jones began her career with the Georgia Office of Victim Services (GOVS) as a part-time Victim Specialist in August 2020 and has worked her way up the ladder to Senior Victim Specialist. She is an alumna of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology and with minors in Public Administration and Africana Studies. Currently, she is completing a Master of Social Work with a certificate in Substance Use Counseling through the University of Georgia. While working in GOVS, Dajah has successfully acquired $10,000 in NAVAA grant funds to complete projects dedicated to raising awareness of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Dajah is a Certified Victim-Offender Dialogue facilitator, Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management, and a Credentialed Victim Advocate through the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA). Dajah is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and her volunteer experience includes working with the Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter and being a Court Appointed Special Advocate in the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit. Dajah was the 2022 and 2023 recipient of the GPACS Lisa Lance Memorial Award and Scholarship and the 2022 Georgia Professional Association Community Supervision (GPACS) Member Scholarship.
