Marla Jones is a professional social worker who has worked to preserve and strengthen family units for over 25 years. Mrs. Jones has provided therapeutic prevention services to families in inpatient and outpatient mental settings, as well as in home support services. Ms. Jones found her professional fit in 2004 when she was hired as a Family Preservation Case Manager with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). Since joining the DFCS team Mrs. Jones has held the titles of Case Manager, Family Team Meeting Facilitator, Social Services Supervisor and Practice Model Coach ( Solution Based Casework). She is currently a member of the DFCS Safety Section. Mrs. Jones is responsible for providing front line staff with practice and program guidance with a focus on family preservation services and cases involving domestic violence.
