"James L. Anderson is senior vice president Enterprise Inclusion, Marketing and Communications for WarnerMedia. He is responsible for working across the company’s portfolio of businesses to develop a narrative and align strategies that scale WarnerMedia’s marketing, corporate social responsibility and external affairs efforts as it relates to diversity and inclusion in the community and marketplace. He most recently was senior vice President communications for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim Boomerang and TCM.

A veteran communications executive, Anderson is known for his experience positioning companies within their respective marketplace(s) and for also supervising the media campaigns of over fifty television series including: That ‘70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, The Powerpuff Girls, The Boondocks, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, and Steven Universe.

Prior to his current role, Anderson was Sr. Vice President of Public Relations and Publicity for Carsey-Werner. He is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre at Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he is currently on the Board of Trustees. He’s a graduate of The John E. Anderson School of Management at UCLA in partnership with the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP); and serves on the Boards of the SIFMA Foundation(Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association), NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) and the Tony winning Alliance Theatre in Atlanta."
