Thi Nguyen professional career with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles commenced in 2021 in the Pardons Administration division. Her unwavering commitment and noteworthy contributions facilitated her upward mobility within the organization, and she assumed various roles in the Communications Division and Field Services Interstate Compact Division. In 2022, Thi transitioned to the Georgia Office of Victim Services (GOVS) as a Victim Specialist I and has since been promoted to the position of Victim Specialist II. Thi has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Public Administration at Clayton State University. Thi is a Credentialed Victim Advocate through the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA), she is an alumna of the National Victims Assistance Academy and is a Certified Victim-Offender Dialogue (VOD) facilitator. She is a member of the Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision (GPACS) and the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA). Thi has contributed to several projects and events for GOVS since joining the organization. She has assisted in organizing the first National Crime Victim’s Rights Week events hosted by GOVS at Georgia State University and represents GOVS at several volunteer events. Thi has attended and promoted events with Tapestri, Atlanta Redemption Ink, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Sister’s Empowerment Network.
