The goal of the event is to showcase real industrial AI deployments with proven business benefits and to explain how machine–human collaboration has helped to optimize industrial processes and innovate new industrial products.
Co-founder, Director of Deep Learning at NNAISENSE
Jonathan leads our deep learning team’s quest for the simplest and most general model to rule them all. He is a pioneer in geometric deep learning which extends neural networks beyond computer vision and speech recognition to structured problems in biology, chemistry, and physics. Left handed and pragmatic, in his spare time he is also Italian, works to travel, and suspects no AI will ever be able to explain why pineapple on pizza is even a thing.
Tom Sulzer
CEO at Sulzer & Schmid Lab
A graduate of ETH Zurich, Tom started his career developing robotics and advanced control systems. In the early ‘90s, he joined a US-based multinational medical tech company and headed up one of their global divisions. An entrepreneur at heart, he moved on to launch and run a high-tech startup in Silicon Valley. Upon returning to Switzerland, he rediscovered his passion for robotics and together with his business partner Christof Schmid he founded Sulzer Schmid, a leader in delivering world-class autonomous drone inspections and advanced analytics software for the wind industry.
