Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Ruskowski is head of the Innovative Factory Systems research division at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, holder of the chair for machine tools and controls at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and chairman of the DFKI-based technology initiative SmartFactory KL eV. His research focuses on novel control concepts for automation, artificial intelligence in the Automation technology and industrial robots as machine tools. Before that, he held several management positions in industry, most recently as Head of Research & Development at KUKA Industries Group.
