We will be conducting these trainings on behalf of LCTCS and will be covering various topics throughout these days.
March 18, 2021
• Session 1 (11 AM – 1 PM EST): Issues Affecting Adult Education: This session will cover statutory and compliance issues for the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (Title II of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act).
• Session 2 (2pm-4pm EST): Updates for CTE Administrators: This session will discuss use of funds and other issues relating to the Perkins V program, including fiscal concerns such as supplanting.
March 19, 2021
• Session 1: (9am-11am EST): EDGAR, the UGG, and Other Grants Management Rules: This session will discuss federal grants management rules applicable to all non-federal entities, including financial management, procurement, inventory, time & effort, record retention and close out requirements.
• Session 2: (12pm-2pm EST): EDGAR, the UGG, and Other Grants Management Rules (cont.): This session will be a continuation of the morning session, covering any topics not yet addressed, as well as a question and answer session.
• Following Session 2, all participants will be required to take a Federal Grants Management Test, administered by LCTCS.
