A week of free twilight sessions focussed on statutory RSHE implementation and some of the biggest issues in PSHE education, including engaging parents, race and PSHE education and teachers’ own mental health and wellbeing. Our Monday session focusses on engaging parents with PSHE education – schools are now required to do so, but it’s also a great opportunity to grow the partnership between parents and schools. Schools are expected to have their RSHE in order very soon, so our Tuesday and Thursday sessions will provide practical tips for primary and secondary colleagues to get ‘Ready, Steady…RSHE’. On Wednesday, we’ll be exploring what we can all do to challenge racism through PSHE and ensure representation and diversity. Then we’re wrapping up with a second session on Thursday on supporting teachers’ own mental health and wellbeing.
