Services Conference Federation (SCF 2022) Opening
Welcome to the Services Conference Federation (SCF 2022). SCF 2022 includes the following 10 collocated service-oriented sister conferences: ICBC 2022, CLOUD 2022, ICWS 2022, BigData 2022, SCC 2022, EDGE 2022, ICCC 2022, ICIOT 2022, AIMS 2022, and METAVERSE 2022. In this opening talk, I am going to share with you some activities of Services Conference Federations and its sponsors. I will cover the following 6 components: SCF as a Platform, SCF Satellite Sessions, SCF 2021 Keynotes, SCF conference sponsors, SCF 365–Conference online everyday, and an Online Community Platform.
During the talk, I will also share with you that Services Society offers certificates to professionals in the field. The Certified Big Data Professional (CBDP) designation is a professional certification for individuals with extensive Big Data experience. The newly created certificate is called Certified Digital Professional (CDP). The CDP designation is a professional certification for individuals with extensive digital transformation experience.
Dr. Zhang has published more than 200 technical papers in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He has 50 granted patents. He was elected as an ACM Distinguished Scientist in 2009 and an IEEE Fellow in 2011, and in the same year won the Technical Achievement Award "for pioneering contributions to Application Design Techniques in Services Computing" from IEEE Computer Society. Dr. Zhang is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Web Services Research (IJWSR). He also served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Services Computing from 2008 to 2012.
